Unable to purchase traits
Having the same issue.
I’m trying to buy condi traits for the condi s/s lb warrior i play. And ive been doing good soo i decided to buy them cause i can finally afford them. And i cant buy them!!!! fix!
It appears to be a bug with the new patch. Since it’s only been live for a couple hours, maybe some patience while they work out what needs fixing.
Looks like it is NPC specific.
I checked the warrior trainer in Divinity’s Reach and it had nothing to sell me.
Just check the warrior and thief trainer in Lion’s Arch and those seem to be fine.
So if you want to buy them now just go to the Postern Ward WP in LA(I didn’t check the other trainers in LA). Edge of the Mist trainer NPC is also working. WvW Borderland NPC is also working.

Awww just noticed this too after dinging my latest character to 80 :/

Yeah, that definitely isn’t working right. If you check the description of a locked trait it says you can either complete the event listed or you can buy the unlock with gold. Currently only traits you’ve unlocked are available, which doesn’t match the description of how traits are unlocked.
It’s certainly the latest patch that’s caused this problem. I could buy traits I have never unlocked on my new thief last night without trouble. Today I’m limited to traits I’ve already unlocked, which is kind of worthless unless I create a second thief.
Same problem here. can’t buy any traits I haven’t unlocked. Neither of the Lion’s Arch vendors work either.
