Unable to see red outline of enemies
The outlines appear if you enable post processing in the options. Are you sure you haven’t turned this off meanwhile to increase fps? Check if it’s enabled, if it is, try disabling it and then re-enabling it again.
I see outline of anyone if I hover my mouse over it, but it just simply disappeared if I hold down my mouse button and move my view. This issue never happened before until the recent game updates. My post-processing setting was never changed.
I’m still unable to see outlines of allies or foes when my view is moving as of today’s game updates.
The outline of characters on post-processing effect is no longer working as intended since the June 25 update.
I’ve disabled it so I can at least see the bosses’ movements without seeing all the white bloom all over the boss.
What happens is that the outline is removed from the selected target unless the cursor is hovering over it. When you press the mouse button and rotate the camera, the mouse cursor disappears but remains where it was when you pressed the mouse button. The camera rotates, the target is now not where it used to be, and the now invisible mouse is no longer on that target, so the outline on the target disappears. Either that, or the now invisible mouse cursor cannot highlight the target any more.
I don’t remember if it used to work differently before.
My mouse cursor has always been visible and sometimes go invisible, but that’s not the main issue. Before the update, the outline would “paint” when on the entity when the mouse cursor hovers over it while moving/rotating the camera view with the mouse.
After the Sky Pirates of Tyria update, all the outline paint disappears when the camera is rotating using the mouse, and will only reappear when I let go of the mouse button.
In the screenshots above after the update rolled in, the game cannot repaint any outline as I try to adjust or move my camera around to get the cursor to paint the target with the outline. Prior to the update, there would’ve been a red outline around Melandru priest, regardless if I click-targeted it or not.
I also found out that rotating the camera using the keyboard remains completely unaffected by this issue.
