Guild Wars 2

I logged on right after the patch, and was never given access to the living world. My friends said they received mail (which I never received), and were prompted to begin the living world by simply changing their story log to “Gates of Maguuma”.
However, when I attempt to do this, it requests that I purchase Gate of Maguuma for 0gems, and when I accept the fee, it just gives me a network error, and voids the transaction.
I tried relogging, I even waited until the next day (today) to see if it would fix itself, but I’m still unable to access the living world story.
Is this a bug? Or am I just missing something incredibly obvious?

Thought of that, deleted a lot of old mail, and then relogged. nothing :\

Try picking up whatever is waiting for you from the Trading Post. For some reason, it’s stuck in the queue behind TP purchases.
