While fighting underwater, mobs will randomly reset on me. I don’t believe it’s tied to the tethering as it just happened to me again. I was sitting still underwater and it just showed ‘invulnerable’ then it went a few yards back to it’s starting position. Reset it’s health to full. Then I have to kill it again.

It happens often enough to me to be an issue. I generally don’t like fighting underwater in the first place, but with this it makes it a truly dreadful experience

I have this happen to me constantly. I think it’s been getting worse, since it used to only happen like once out of every 10 or so enemies, but lately every other fish I try to kill goes invulnerable, spazzes out and wanders back to its spawn point or something, heals to full, and then I hit it two or three times and it does it again. And again. And AGAIN. Even though it’s at the exact spot it wants to be at. I eventually manage to kill them through some unknown combination of pulling and stunlocking, but it’s absolutely infuriating and makes me want to avoid any sort of underwater content where the enemy might be more difficult than a standard mob.

I’ve been having issues with underwater mobs for a couple days now where anytime I engage them in melee, they glitch out after a few seconds and become Invulnerable and reset.

It only happens when I try to melee them. If I stay at range and attack them, they are fine.

So, I have looked in the forums to see if this is happening to anyone else, but I only found one other mention, tied to kiting.

At random, a mob I am fighting, on any of my toons, in any zone, will go Invulnerable, and attempt to reset. The mob still has aggro on me, and will attack me after a few seconds. Sometimes I can kill it then, but very often it will attempt to reset in this way several times before I can actually kill it.

Now I have noticed, this happens mostly in the water, but I have run into it on several occasions on land, in a cave.

I really don’t mind the leveling in this game, but with this type of thing happening, it becomes frustrating.

Anyone else have this issue?
