Guild Wars 2

I was up by NW tower on green borderlands when I noticed I could see my servers trebs through walls. I thought it was a new addition to the game however I went towards an enemy servers keep to see if I could do the same and indeed I can.

Be suspicious of video drivers.

I had something similar in GW1 long ago, a few weeks later the card packed in completely and needed replacing.

If you are using an AMD graphics card, check your settings in your Catalyst Control Center for.

• SmoothVision HD: Anti-Aliasing
• SmoothVision HD: Anisotropic Filtering

Check to make sure those two settings are set to ‘Use application settings’ instead of custom.

See if that helps correct the problem.

I had recently encountered that issue in another game to where everything was ‘x-ray’. I am unsure of which of those settings it was that corrected it though as I had both as custom and put both to ‘Application Controlled’ at the same time to correct it, though it was most likely the anisotropic filtering setting that fixed it.
