why is impossible to salvage weapons trasmuted with zenith skin? i have a 6g sigil on an exo and i can’t salvage it and upgrade my ascended weapon. is it a bug or not? i have a lot of weapons with expensive sigils on it, if that’s not a bug then i won’t trasmute my weapons anymore :/
Odd, I have no problem salvaging my transmuted Zenith weapons. Perhaps, you might contact Customer Support and discuss your issue with them? Good luck.
Can you include the name of the weapon you applied the Zenith skin to?
Also, does this weapon have a coin/vendor value at the bottom of its info tool-tip?
If the weapon that the Zenith skin was applied to was purchased with Karma or Badges, or was a soulbound/account bound drop from the Mystic Forge and was initially unsalvageable, applying the Zenith skin would not change its salvageability status.
Also, I’m not sure of this, but if your weapon is stored in an invisible bag then I think it cannot be salvaged as a safety precaution. If my above questions do not apply to the weapon, and it is in an invisible bag, try to move it to a non-invisible bag slot and attempt to salvage it again.- Not relevant as Mystic confirmed items can be salvaged from invisible bags.
I CAN confirm as well that my Zenith Spire cannot be sold or salvaged. It transmuted over an Ascalonian Staff…and no, it was not a PvP weapon. I also cannot use it in the Mystic Forge. kthx

Are you sure that was the underlying item? There is actually a somewhat nifty way you can check. Type /wiki in the game then shift+click the item. Press enter and the game will open your browser searching for the item using the chat code and the wiki will decode the chat code showing you the underlying item. The attachment is my search using my pistols with the Seathunder skin.

That is not true either. The game has no problem with me salvaging my AC armor or my CoE daggers. It has also been mentioned a bunch of times in the crafting section that one of the ways to get Dire inscriptions is to salvage them from the CoE weapons.

That’s not true. I always buy rares with my CoE tokens to salvage them.
