So, I sent my friend about 7g so that they could buy something, only they never got it. I sent her three letters – one of which had no gold. The other two had gold, but were never received. Attached is a picture of their inbox. I really hope that gold didn’t disperse into cyberspace.

Edit: The reason that I sent one without gold was because I had forgotten to add the gold to it.

See at the top of his inbox? It says 10/10. That means he cannot recieve any more mail.

The mail is not lost however, as soon as he deletes some mail it will become availible.

What I find interesting about that screenshot is that there are at least 12 messages in their inbox, yet it says 10/10.

Are messages sent regarding quests and storyline by the game not counted in the message count? I should hope for the sake of logic and common sense that they aren’t.

If they are not counted then, Aroswing, have your friend delete just personal messages until count is well below 10 if they would prefer to keep those game messages saved.

10/10 only counts player emails, not in-game, heart completion, story related, or exploration emails. So, you could have… I don’t know, 20 emails on one character from in-game sources, but only 10 player emails across all characters until you will no longer see other player emails or gem store purchase emails… But those in-game related mails will still keep coming.

This is how the “mailbox is full” hint gets bugged. You have to delete all in-game mails, including those from gem purchases on one character and only have 10 or more player emails to activate it.
