The second half of this story quest bugged out for me after I revived the ogre within the brand. When escorting him to safety the devourer popped up right as the cut scene appeared. This lead to the ogre and forgal dying while I was watching the cut scene. After I killed the devourer the quest ended and I received my reward, however I was unable to choose which option to take, either helping the beast master or helping the ogres build up their fortification. It automatically picked an option for me.
You do both tasks, there is no choice.
Hmm I thought in the dialogue it said “tame pets or help with the fortifications”. Oh well as long as its not bugged I’m happy. Thanks for the reply.
Originally it was a split, but the two steps felt too short on their own, so both are now required.
