So with the monthly having JUST rolled around, I’ve checked my monthly achievements panel – and noticed that the LA mega-event seems to be giving me credit for DUNGEON participation. I have not completed a dungeon in at least a few days, and yet I seem to be getting credit for dungeons simply by doing the event. Is this intentional? Did I miss something? Of course, I’m not complaining if it is, but… just thought it worth reporting. See attachment: No dungeons completed, and yet 2 dungeons on monthly achievement!

hmmm….Same here it seems. I have most certainly NOT done any story/explorable dungeons in the past 24 hours but HAVE done one round in LA…and now have progress on the Monthly Dungeon Participation tracker…

It seems the game considers the burning-LA a dungeon. Although, there are certainly different mechanics in play. I wonder what markers are making it seen as a dungeon.

Regardless, I’m sure they will ‘fix’ it soon. =) Maybe on the 4th.

I’m wondering if the dungeon count bug is more widespread. I wasn’t watching for it, but I just checked after having done Arah story mode with some guildies…it now says I have completed 3 dungeons. Again…have only done LA meta event once since last night’s reset and a single Arah story mode. I cannot for the life of me imagine what else would count as a “dungeon” now….

Most times ArenaNet bugs work against us, sometimes they work for us. I’d not complain too much about this and just enjoy the 10 achievement points from the ‘bugged’ monthly.

It counts for the monthly but not the daily. o_O
