Guild Wars 2

The game just kicked me to load a new build, and 20 minutes later it still is failing to download. It gets maybe 30-40k, at 1k per second (on my connection that is nothing). It is now sitting on 109KB at 0KB/sec.

What happened? This is the slowest download I have ever seen it do.

Same at my end, extremely sloooow download.
4-12kbs.

Might be worth letting ANet know what ISP you’re with and where you’re located.

It is now 7 hours later. I restarted the game and it is doing the same thing. 1-3KB download speed dropping off to 0. This not a connection problem at my end, the rest of the connection is working fine. I am in the UK, the ISP is Virgin Media. The game won’t start without downloading something but it is failing to do so. Now I am stuffed.

Seems to be a UK thing then as i have the same issue, pretty much stopping me from playing at this point.

50 attempts later and i am finally in, seems just plugging at it works sometimes?
