1st: Pls read the hints of those collectibles. Tamed Spirit is just obtainable when you have all friends, including friend of the pupps and rabbits.

2nd: No tamed spirit=nothing to combine raven with.

Just read the tips of the collectibles.

If they are bugged, we will see, when they patch pupps and rabbits on (probably/hopefully) tuesday. Hopefully they are not, but it won’t surprise me.
And i cant even understand why they don’t hotfix such kitten bugs. it worked on T2 in about 2 days. Why do we have to wait for 2 little progress blocking bug fixes for such a major part of the game for over 11 days…?

Still no response from any Dev, what an disappointment.

If they even would say we have to understand or wait for the patch, we would knew they are working on something big with high priority(They probably do) but without any reaction from the devs, we will never know.

Community contact is so important! I don’t get it why they seem to not care about us……

Part of the legendary experience is getting involved in all aspects of the game. Known bugs and unpolished content is a core part of the GW2 game design.

I would and probably many others would be holding a Nevermore if not for bunnies and puppies. Anet must hate cute animals.

True but all that grinding and getting your hopes up only to find out it halts at a point where progression won’t go any further. Must suck for that person who wasted tons of cash on Anet Black Lion Trading company to get materials and items to find out that the game is broken.

As the same for anyone who is planning on going further in progression then they find out Gorseval or other raid bosses is bugged then they’d have to start all over from the beginning of the raid.

How angry would you be? Especially crafting your Viper or Sinister gear and spending tons of gold to buy Black Diamonds to craft the gear only to find out later that all your efforts just to be in a successful raid to reach the last boss then a bug happens lmao.

That’s chaos. No different than other things thats bugged for another player who’s trying to level, do fractals, raid, or simply wants to finish crafting and something goes wrong in the process, oh look it’s bugged.

If that’s the case, they should have named the game Bugged Wars 2

I think Anet have taken the money and run. Gaile, who’s job is to monitor and post, hasn’t posted on anything at all for a week. No-one has posted on any of the myriad of issues for the entire month. Hmmm.

Have patience, I know it’s frustrating when something you specifically wanted for months is unobtainable due to a bug but they will fix it eventually. Focus on something else in the meantime. Wintersday is coming soon too.

Just saying a little patience never hurts. I don’t call the post office if something I ordered is a little late because I know they will deliver it eventually.

Anet has stated that fixes come in larger, less frequent patches from now on. Maybe Nevermore bugs will be fixed with the next patch? In the meantime all you can do is wait patiently, or impatiently.

EDIT: I have waited for them to fix fractal weapon collection since HoT launch so I could get my first golden fractal weapon skin. But I’m not upset they are taking so long because I know they will fix it eventually. I would be upset if in the end they said I need to obtain the same skins again, however.

Well, I would bet that if something you ordered was a month late you would have called the post office. More to the point, if they declined to talk to you and would give you no acknowledgement that the thing you thought you were waiting for even existed, you would be jumping up and down like a trained seal by now. But since I don’t know you I can’t say that for certain, ofc, but I suspect my money would be safe.

Anyway, my point is far less about the problems themselves and far more about the unwillingness to acknowledge anything or to communicate, especially from people whose job it is to do so.

You honestly can’t compare a Fractal Collection with a legendary journey which you allready have paid 2200-2500 Gold for. Not at all.

Thats the proof. No one at Anet ist testing such things. Or the guys who do, are not enough and they test other things…. Arenanet said they invested “Months of work” into the legendary Collections. Wouldn’t you test something you worked so hard and long for, before you release it?

I agree. Definitely a lack of staff, especially in the bug fixing department.

Would be nice to get an update on all the current legendary collection items that are bugged and when the next blue moon is coming for a fix on them :-/

Perhaps people getting fired or being laid off due to not being able to pay the employees. Besides, this IS a F2P game and players have an option to buy or not buy from the gem store. If this was a monthly subscription based game, I bet it’d be stable enough to pay for more employees.

And more money coming into the business = more employees = more fixes being made because there’d be enough employees assigned to different task of the business a.k.a game to fix bugs. Just my guess.

robin – I might not have spent thousands of gold on my fractal weapon skins but I have invested countless hours solely on fractals to get my skins. They have been random drops up until HoT launch so yes, I think I can compare them to a precursor collection. Time=money.

My point is it doesn’t matter what you say on the forums because it won’t make them work on bug fixes any faster. It’s best to just be patient and make sure they are aware of the issues.

As far as I know, some questions have been answered on Reddit. Browse there, maybe they have touched the subject of Nevermore collection bugs too. But seriously, I can’t blame them for preferring Reddit over these forums. We all know people are volatile here.

@Maris: I did check reddit regularly and there has been no mention about the bugs (after the Protector of All bug). Even if these forums are a toxic environment, it’s not proffessional to provide valuable information in other environments (as comments in other peoples threads even) and not provide them on the official forums.
And I don’t think any of us believes they will fix the bugs faster the more people complain. But it might be beneficial in the future to make them realise the impact that their decisions have on people. Maybe they won’t provide fixes faster, but the silence treatment never helped the situation. Maybe they could at least work on a better way to communicate with their playerbase.

regarding the question if anything have been posted on reddit or not, the answer to that is no, there was one reply saying that the people on the journeys had been pulled off it and someone else was on it now, but given how many bugs/faulty design there is present in all of them it’s no wonder no one is replying.
These collections as a whole is just kittenty mess that never should have been released, if I had spend months on something and it turned out like this I would be hiding in kitten not replying to anyone else tbh.

I don’t really think people have to be patience either considering they paid a hefty amount for an expansion where said feature was promised from the start but was then pushed and then released in a broken state when it finally did launch.

I think Maris meant that time also equals money and that farming for something that can’t be bought can be also translated into money spent. I don’t think he meant that we didnt put in effort for the collections. Just that there’s also other types of effort, not just gold.

That’s a shame then. And I agree, they should be answering questions on their own forums instead of going to Reddit to make sure everybody can find them. I for one don’t even use Reddit. But the dev responses there could have also been made on their own free time.

I’m the type of player who focusses on one thing and wants to finish it before doing somehting else. It just feels better to finish something finally. So is my attitude in real life.

I want to finish my Nevermore project before grinding something else or playing a twink or something…

So i guess if with todays patch won’t come a fix I’m gonna play Fallout for the next time…

So, the todays patchnotes don’t mention anything about any Collection.

Rabbit Event still not occuring. Been waiting on that rabbit pen for 1.5 hours now and nothing happens.
Is that the reason why Anet stealth-fixes Friend of the Pup so they don’t have to deal with that?
Come on, just let us buy that thing from an NPC, i would gladly pay 50k karma just to get this done.

quite literally add it to the kitten legendary vendor or to the vendor right next to the rabbitthingy. Come on its not hard to add an itemid to some vendor for a bit of karma or so. Write some lore how its a donation idc.

Guys the only conclusion is, that animations of Nevermore or even the weappon itself are/is bugged or not yet completed.

They are time gating it artificially, it’s proofed now. Why would they take an event for the collection, which isn’t in the game anymore for months?

Linsesy only showed it on a Daredevil, Necro and a Mesmer. Maybe the guardian or elementalist animations are bugged? Or any other part of it.

Thats the only reason to time gate it like this.
