Venom Share working on siege
This is probably intentional, as physical siege damage is actually affected by your power, golem HP is affected by your vitality, and the damage of condition ticks on arrow carts etc. is affected by your condition damage. Siege generally benefits from a players stats rather than having a universal effectiveness, so to me it kind of makes sense that they would also benefit from certain traits/skills that amplify attacks.
Any player can now come along and use this ballista and benifit from the venoms, it is all fine and dandy if a thief gets on the siege and has venoms active, but siege it self should not receive the venoms. it would also allow players with venoms to double up on vemons
Oh you mean the venoms are being applied to the siege itself as if it were an ally? I thought you meant you didn’t think other players receiving venomous aura should gain the benefit when attacking with siege, but I think I see your issue now. If that’s the case, I agree that it is probably not the desired effect. But are you sure it’s not just a UI display issue, and that the doubled conditions are actually being applied on hit?

After some testing(used a cannon at garrison to shoot moa) venoms when only on player do not apply to siege shots, like it should be, siege is only supposed to benefit from base player stats, not boons and buffs(could u imagine if a player on siege site with regen would heal the siege); however, when u venom share to a siege site it applies the venoms to the siege. this is too strong, being able to apply a stun to siege is ridiculous(like the old warrior trait bug where they could spam immob with arrow carts)
edit: with further testing you can also heal siege with skelk venom(thief heal), so imagine a thief with a ton of healing power giving siege life stealing…..
