I’ve just got a Vial of Condensed Mists Essence drop from lvl 26 fractal.
It dropped during Jade Maw fight from one of those crystal guys we have to kill.
Here’s the screenshot with Game Log open and Fractal lvl visible.

I’d like to know if it’s possible for GM to remove this vial and give me shard instead since I’m @ 280 fractals done and i never had Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence drop from lvl 20+ fractals.

So, nobody had similar bug ?

Yep it’s normal i even got Vial on lvl 16 and on 24… So i think it’s normal

From 14th December patch notes:
“Vials of Condensed Mists Essence no longer drop after scale 10.
Globs of Coagulated Mists Essence no longer drop after scale 20.”

It’s listed under fractals.
Any of the devs can look into this problem?

Interesting. I wonder if this got accidentally un-patched with the removal of the Wintersday content.

I can tell you from personal experience that as to having the incorrect drop replaced with the correct one, the most likely CS reply you’ll hear is “We do not have any way of reimbursing or reversing any unwanted items.”

I guess the only good news is that it’s not entirely worthless, as you can transmute it into higher quality Mist Essence via the recipes here.

Guy from my party had a Vial drom from lvl 30 fractal today. Also in Jade Maw fractal. Seems like Jade Maw’s mobs are bugged.

To the devs: Mobs during Jade Maw fight ( the crystal guys ) still drop incorrect version of Mists Essence.

Waiting for Dev reply on this.

I’m pretty sure it also extends to normal fractals. I believe I got a Vial from a Son of Svanir on lv18 or 19.

This bug is still present.

Had a vial drop off of a level 26 run during Maw, then a vial drop on a level 20 run during the underwater fractal.
