Hello,

i have the Problem that i dont get the Big chest at Vinewrath after a DC,
today i had one before the first Boss was down, i was lucky to get back on the Map and played the whole Event, i have get all side chests but the big one in the middle is only as symbol on map but not there for me.
Yesterday i had the dc after the event just in front off the chest before i have loot them, when i come back on map it was away for me.

Please help

DCing clears your event credit, so if you are dropped, you need to do something to get it back before the event ends; in about 99% of cases, this means get a kill credit on an event-connected enemy (others in the area will mix freely and can confuse the issue). Are you helping out your lane after you return? If you are, then you’ll need to get credit on a boss, which may not be possible. ;(

If the event is over, the chest SHOULD remain, unless you come back to the wrong server.

This is how is normaly must work, but it doesnt at Vinewrath.
Yesterday i killed many mobs and the boss at my line after dc and get the reward from the sidechest, but not the chest at the end and the 50 % mf buff…something is wrong there

I can also agree to this, I don’t know how many times I’ve dc’d during a vinewrath, only to log back in the same map with vinewrath still going on, tagging mobs to get the bonus chests, but then once the vinewrath is completed not getting the giant chest at the end.

next theory: you need credit for being present at the deaths of all three bosses (get the intermediate bonus chest each time) and not disconnect at any point during the encounter… this would mean late-comers also miss out

I haven’t DC’d atall yet the last 2 times ive done the Boss ive been unable to open the large chest only the bandit chests.

No , if i join a map with 1/3 or 2/3 and not Dcd before i get the Big Chest Reward

Hi,

I got DC after I killed the champ on my lane. No VW chest for me. The next day I got DC again after killing the boss on my lane. No VW chest. That’s 2 days in a row. Ok, 1 day went without DC, got my VW chest. BUT today is a special day, the third time I got DC in the same pattern: killed the boss of my lane, got DC, lost VW chest.

AS IF Anet is intentionally kicking me out to prevent me from getting VW chest.

In all cases, I was in middle lane and always in a party, to prevent this kind of issue… nice to see it prevents a jack.

What the hell is this? I demand justice!

It was okay, when I first started doing VW, seems to be some awesome feature from recent patch again I guess.
