Guild Wars 2

Right before the last big event patch, I was at 99% completion with 2 vistas and 1 poi left to get in eternal battle grounds. When the patch came it bumped me back to 96%. I thought no big deal, must be a lot of new places in the zone I cant get to. Well, after getting all the new WP, and poi in the new zone, and the 2 in LA, I still have about 10 vistas and 15 poi left to discover!

There is either a bug in what is displaying on the map, or a bug in the counter. I don’t see how getting 100%% completion is even possible for me now without going back and doing every single one again.

I think this effected everyone, but only those that are really close to finishing will notice. A few weeks from now, this will turn into a huge problem as people near completion and are still missing things like I am.

I’ll have to double check tonight, but I checked after the 2 POI in Lion’s Arch were added and those were the only 2 that I was still missing in my map completion vs. what I had been before (still have to finish one of the borderlands as well). Didn’t see any phantom POIs or vistas pop up.

Did this issue arise immediately (with the Friday update?) or did it happen later on?

It was either thursday or friday, whenever the big patch dropped. Since I couldn’t see the new zone I didnt think anything of it and just thiught they had added a bunch. Surely I cant be the only one experiencing this.

I got every single zone at 100%, got all new POI in the new zone and LA and I’m stuck with 718/719 POI and thus 99% of world completion… /sadpandaface :’(

@Olaya: Did you go to the Chantry of Secrets?

I on the other hand had 2 WvW Map to complete which were both half way done. On Friday when the event started and Phase 1 finished I decided to do some WvW since i figured now would be a good time since everyone els my still be doing it or the new instance. Now one of the Maps i know for sure i never finished was somehow completed? Other Map is fine but now cause of this my Achivement Counter is off and even if I manage to finish the last map it will not be complete. I have made a bug report ingame and havent heard anything. I have responded to several Forums post like this explaning my situation and have heard nothing. When will this be resolved!

same thing happen to me stuck at 99% while its showing i’ ve done 100% in all zones…

i did the chantry instance it works got my 2nd word completion ;D
