/Whisper doesn’t work half the time and the data results in my Guild > History > Roster is very VERY slow to populate data.

When I try to /whisper online friends or people I see online from the guild, I don’t get an ECHO of what I typed as my whisper. Yes, I type out /whisper {and full name of player} and when I hit enter, I see nothing.

I asked people to whisper to me, in /say or /guildchat they said they did, but I don’t receive anything until minutes later, if not longer!

When going to the guild tab, looking under History and then Roster, only about 10% of the history shows up, and the remaining are … These … take a very very long time to populate.

I’ve noticed this issue for the past 2 weeks. Most people say they have no issues.

What’s wrong?

I don’t know about most people, but I’ve been getting that issue for a lot longer than 2 weeks. Maestro you said a few minutes, sometimes I will try to whisper people before missions and their name will finally pop up about 20 min-an hour later in the middle of typing instructions in guild chat. I imagine people have reported this before but since the search functionality in this forum doesn’t seem to work, guess all we can do is hope for a fix eventually.

Yeah, it would be nice to get more response about this. I can only speculate that there are those who aren’t having the problem, and there are those who are having the problems, but have mostly ignored it and stayed silent about it.

It’s not just one person, so it stands it could be a lot of people. Any help here?

A year later and this is still popping up. My whispers sometimes take 5 minutes to show up, and my guild roster takes way too long to update.

What did support say in response to your ticket? They are usually pretty good about helping people troubleshoot it. (There are a number of possibilities; it’s likely that each person posting here is experiencing something different.)

I had this problem when I played on a computer that would overheat and didn’t have the best specs. When that started to happen I always knew my computer was starting to overheat and I needed to get a fan out or shutdown. Ever since I upgraded this hasn’t happened for me, tho this is just my experience. Just pointing out it could be something on your end.
