Atm in wvw all i see is zoom hacks used with ac but i go to report button and there is no CHEAT option do you ANET beleive cheaters dont exist. Because the last few weeks i never seen so many cheats as before please sort it out

Best part is..even if these people get caught..They merely write in a support ticket and say “My account got hacked !!!” Anet will reply and investigate,and you know..Most of the time these cheaters will simply get their account back again…And they will just continue botting,and cheating..If they get banned again,they send in the same support ticket,It’s a sad truth.Anet is too lose with these people,they know they hack,but they simply keep giving these people their accounts back.

The sad bit is that sometimes cheaters get mistaken for legitimate game mechanics.

The other day someone got angry and threatened to boot me for being a “scrub” in a dungeon because I couldn’t blink through a solid wall and portal people to the other side.

Me: “That’s not how blink works…”
Leader: “Mesmer did it last run, you have got the skill right noob”
Me: “Yes, I just tried it didn’t you see?”
Leader: “Other teleport the one that goes through walls, do it or I’ll get someone who can”
Player: “Seriously, they don’t have a blink that goes through walls”

It’s from a forum on a particular site where they promote these types of things wich im not gonna link obviously.

There are indeed two major issues here.
First of all people calling people cheaters while they are not cheating but just using a game mechanic.
I remember recently that someone was claiming that a thief was cheating cause he wasn’t revealed when attacking. Myself and other have pointed out there that with the right weapon and traits it is possible to maintain stealth when using one particular weaponskill making it look as if he is cheating.

On the other hand there are people who are cheating and go through any length to deny it.

The forum Caedmon is talking bout is known to me as well. There is a lot of bragging going on, but what they don’t say is the amount of people caught, and where the claim didn’t work is a lot higher. There are bad people and there will always be people who won’t get caught. What is important to me is that there is numerous evidence that cheaters get caught.

All these examples show how convincing the story’s of the cheaters sound, but how easy support sees through the lies.
