So I have a question. Did anybody here come across a bug where a player wasn’t able to WP after the rest of the party was either also dead or out of combat?

Yesterday in a SE run there was one person who was complaining about not being able to WP. We didn’t believer her/him because we never read/heard anything about it.
So after politly asking a couple of times. We warned that we would kick the person.
(S)He didnt make any attemt to “fix” the problem if it was there, for example reconnecting. Just complained and commanded us around to res. I can tell you, rezzing ppl at that one dredge in P3 is not a fun thing to do.
When this person also started calling us idiots etc. we eventually kicked the player out.
Note here: Im not a fan of kicking anybody out, never did before, but this was just outright rediculous.

I’m still wondering if the player was lying or not, about the wp-ing. And if it maybe could be a bug.

I have had it bug out on me before multiple times at Caudecus’ Manor. I was sure that everyone had gotten out of combat but I wasn’t able to WP. What works for me every time is if they get in combat and then out again. But for CM it’s not so easy to just get in combat and then run away when you have half a dozen riflemen shooting you.

Well it happend like 4/5 times. The player wasn’t able to res anywhere according to the player. We ran in and out and in and out, waypointed ourselfs. But that didnt trigger anything.

Relogging should fix it if nothing else works, but it’s obviously not an option if you started the instance. It’s possible that the particular instance was bugged out, but it sounds to me like he was just too lazy to run back.

You can relog even if you are instance owner provided you won’t swap characters and be back in ~10 minutes.
