Why do I have to wait for CoF to open? It made sense in the past, because people were farming CoF p1. Now days, you can’t farm any dungeon, so why do I have to resort to workarounds like switching servers, and looking up on third party webpages to see which server has CoF open, all in an attempt to play that dungeon once a day? Why? No one is farming CoF anymore, just let me enter like any other dungeon!

Not a bug.
No need to wait either, you can open the dungeon by yourself, or ideally with your dungeon party. Just go to Forlorn Waypoint at Liberation Dell and follow Razen the Raider. Takes about 10 minutes to do, you get drops, 2 event credits and get to run CoF. If that level of effort is too much, you can wait.

The CoF pre events are boring as heck: “Wait for NPC to do something”, “Wait for NPC to move”, “wait for 7 minute timer to expire”, and are much longer than the actual dungeon.

Why does everyone insist in calling me ‘Nobody’ or ‘No One’? The name is Portable Corpse and I need my Empy Shards same as anyone else. As long as people are content to open the place, I can get in 3-5 runs in relatively short order, though normally for five runs I have to open the place three, sometimes four times, limiting me to not more than 3 runs before I move to other content (temples). :|

Perhaps we need to occasionally earn our rewards?

If I don’t earn it, I don’t see it as mine and don’t care for it. I like my armor. I like my weapons. I have no interest in your handouts, so please don’t be going around giving them to me, or insisting that others provide them to me.

Hoarder of achievement chests – destroying them for room seems a waste, but they also don’t salvage :S

The problem is that standing around for 7 minutes auto attacking waves of trash is neither engaging nor difficult content.

The worst part is when CoF is contested and the Razen escort event hasn’t started yet… you need to wait until the event starts (no trigger as far as I can see, just time and/or RNG) and the game won’t even tell you how long you need to stand around for.

The CoE pre events are much better in this regard, although there’s still an annoying wait if the troll event hasn’t started yet.

@draconx Exactly my thought’s. Standing around like an idiot is very fun and engaging content. What ever would I do without that fun event.

What ever the purpose of that is, it’s not doing what is supposed to do because I always guest in other servers in order to get in. Of caurse, I have to first check gw2state.com to see where I guest.
A-net, please remove that thing, don’t make me have to open my web browser and consult third party website in order to play your game!

@TiredTrack “No need to wait either” … “you can wait.” Dude, I don’t want to wait (also, you are contradicting yourself). If there was a legitimate reason for making me wait, I wouldn’t complain. That event is serving no purpose except to annoy people! If you like waiting, you can wait all you want. I just want to go to CoF once a day without opening my web browser, that’s all.
