Since the Dec. 10 patch warrior hammer stun has been randomly (but frequently enough to have it happen every other game with a hammer warrior) causing my character to completely lose the ability to move (WSAD and holding both mouse buttons does nothing). This happens in various SPvP maps and the only way to regain control of my character is if a warrior hammer stuns me again or I die.

Fortunately I can still use abilities and somewhat navigate using blink/phase retreat (im playing a mesmer when this bug occurs, unsure if other professions affected). unsure if this happens in WvW, I’ve only had it happen to me in SPvP.

I’ve had the exact same bug on several occasions. It’s only solved by either logging out and in, or if the effect gets reapplied. I’m also playing a mesmer, so not sure if connected to staff abilities.

Hmm happening very often for me now, may need proper test but I suspect phase retreat from hammer stun causes it.

This unable to move bug has hit me twice during the Jormag event. Not sure if it’s just a hammer skill doing this.

Its a bug that is affecting other parts of the game too. It was introduced when immobilze was modified to stack. The easiest fix besides logging out and back in, is to type /dance into your chat box. Yes, you heard me right.

Of course, doing that in PvP…

I have had this happen to me twice today. A Veteran Supervisor (WvW camp Lord) will hit me and suddenly I am unable to move at all again until I die.

/dance works? If so that would at least make this bearable
