Guild Wars 2

Last night while roleplaying I suddenly got a warning that I would be logged out in [a periodically decreasing number of] seconds if I did not “resume active play.” The player I was RPing with also got this warning. At no point had we been idle for any significant length of time, but had been typing more or less continuously. Is keyboard activity not factored in when determining if a player is idle?

Sadly only moving counts for it.

I got that warning while I was trying to create a Sylvari character the other night. Trying to figure out how “Glow” works with their skin color and patterns, plus looking at facial sliders took longer than the game expects for you to throw a character together. Plus I was taking notes.

Thank goodness, botters can stay in the game indefinitely because they move around.
