Guild Wars 2

I entered the portal to Fort Trinity from the Order of Whispers Headquarters, That character is now unable to load and is unplayable,,,And it is my PRIMARY Character ;(

Errors like this can be common. Usually point towards something in the game data being corrupted.

Try this:

1) Exit the game
2) delete the file C:\Users\<username>\My Documents\Guild Wars 2\local.dat
3) log back in

if that doesn’t work:
1) Exit game
2) run the game with the -repair command (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Command_line_arguments)
3) log back in.

I’ve done all of the above to no avail…
All other aspects of the game and all 17 other characters are running properly it is only an issue with a single character that entered the portal to fort trinity from the order of whispers instance… That Single character of my 18 characters causes the game to crash after failing to load. This is My Main Character with close to 4,000 hours of play and development.

as a last resort i deleted the .dat file and am reloading it Cross your fingers.
