The [Rush] weapon skill for a great sword on warrior will often (perhaps 40% of the time) run through/past/miss the target enemy and strike nothingness. Sometimes might get stuck on enemy but keeps running for a second or so then strike.

I’m sure it was intended to actually run to the mob then strike, it’s just broken a lot of the time.

Tried with and without melee assist, made no real difference.

I agree! It will usually run up to target and keep running for full animation! You can’t break out of it at all. Sometimes it goes past the target.
I wish you could break out of it by pressing a movement key. Especially when you run up to the wrong mob and you keep running into a pack of enemies!
It would be faster to rush a mob , break out of it , and start attacking normally, then the 1-2 second lag it takes to actually hit the target with rush.
It should be a quick rush and strike, not run up to target and keep running for a second or so before striking.

If memory serves me this skill has worked this way since beta. The game forces you to run the max distance without recognizing that you are in striking distance of the rush target, thereby chopping the running animation and initiating the attack portion of the skill. It’s hilarious to watch my warrior keep running in place when I’m right in the face of the enemy and then attack. Would be awesome if they could fix this.
