Hey,

I’ve been wondering if anyone else is having problems with the skill mentioned in the title. It is supposed to cure one condition and also break stuns, but it’s not always working as intended. If you get, for example knocked down, and then use the skill very fast it will not always unstun you. The same issue is also occuring with the skill called Frenzy, but not as often as Shake it off.

It’s very annoying when this happens in PvP or dungeons, when you have to get up to avoid getting killed.

Anyone having the same problem?

Haven’t had any problems with it myself. What is happening to you? The skill just went on CD and it did nothing?

For some reason you have to wait until you’re knocked down, then press it and get up. You can’t do it during the knockdown.

Why, I have no idea. I only noticed it start recently so I figure somebody decided people weren’t annoyed enough lately.

Possibly because you use it while being airborne.

Why airborne? Because its not the same with being stunned or knocked down, normally you cant use any skills in the air but some stun-breaking skills are usable in that state, but they dont break neither airborne state nor incoming knockdown.

You can see that yourself, try using Shake it off or Frenzy while jumping – unlike other skills you can use them before you land down.

So you should wait until you firmly land down so the “real” knockdown starts before using your stun breakers and then they will work. Probably ANet would have to add some game message or debuff which lets you know if you are airborne but right now the above explanation is the only way to deal with it.

Thanks for the answers. To be honest that sucks. It would be better if you could do it during the airborne too. :/
