Was downloading and disconnected by anet and now I cant download at all…
Sigh gonna be a long download process here comes the mas of complaints

Restarted a few times, it’s still not getting anywhere.

It restarted again for me got to 1% and DCd.. 1 percent at a time r u kidding me? lol

I’m also having the same issue. I’m not sure what is going on. Maybe too many people attempting to download the patch at the same time.?

Have to appreciate the delicious irony of these connection issues with the update text, “The situation is getting worse for the citizens…”

Same connection error message here, as well. Obviously, something to do with the patch. Please fix asap! =(

I’m assuming I’m not theonly one, and it’s cause many people try to patch, but I hope this will get actuallyfixed (as opposed to just waiting till everyone is patched after retrying and retrying).

Same. First I couldn’t get news feed in the client, then download lost connection. Tried restarting client and it just sits here at this.

I had that, now I’m at .01-.00kb/sec. I’m setting a blistering pace, all must fear me!

lol, when i finally got connected it started DLing 400kb/sek and dropped all the way down to 0, now it just sits there… >_<

Problem is too many people trying to patch, which causes them to cap the number of people downloading as to not overload their server.

ANet’s upload servers must be on fire, my download speed is all over the place, from 1.5MB/sec to 0.00KB/sec, and then back to the connection errors over and over again.

Guess I’m not the only one… It back to square one but now it downloading again… Aaand when i thought it was ok, error again -_-;

Seems to be working again now. Over 36mb done now. Guess it’s just a patience and waiting game as I expect I could lose connection again, then pick it up again. Guess I’ll just walk away and come back in an hour.

Not much they can do about it now. So just be patient and keep retrying if you get the connection error. Hopefully for future patches they will be able to do something to avoid these issues after a patch has launched.

Feb 26th. It is 4:46 Pm Eastern Time USA. Seems the login portion of the Guildwars 2 Launcher just opens and says Connection Error. Every now and then it starts to download then stops and gives the same error. Did the update today end up breaking the game? Login Servers down, or to busy? Anyone else having this issue ????
