Guild Wars 2

I seem to have encountered something really strange in Kessex Hills. My engineer fell into the water and when trying to jump back out onto the dock to continue fighting some bandits, encountered some weird screen flashing where he appeared to be hovering/falling in limbo. After a few attempts, he was warped to another area of the map.

It was very unsettling and a first encounter. I will try a a restart of the game.

Restarting seems to have fixed it…for now.

With regard to jumping and possibly related, when the magnetic descender first arrived on the market, just after the patch, I had a jumping issue where I could not jump. My glider did not deploy and I splatted. Typing worked just fine. Restarting the game fixed that too.
