There seems to be some confusion on the interaction between on swap sigils and on crit proc sigils’ cooldowns.

Currently, both of these sigils share the same global cooldown. This means that if you swap and gain the benefits of say Sigil of Superior Doom on your offhand. For the next 9 seconds, you would not be able to gain the benefit of Sigil of Superior Earth on your main hand. This works in the opposite manner as well where if you proc the Earth sigil, for the next 2 seconds of its cooldown, and you switch to a weapon set with a Doom sigil you will not get the poison on next attack.

My question then is this working as intended where on swap sigils and on crit sigils share the same global cooldown or are they meant to be seperated? Does this further extend to any future cooldowns on weapon sigils? Keeping the current interaction feels like a limit on our weapon setups, but it would be helpful to know if this will remain as the current mechanic. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Ah thank you for pointing this out. I’ve been running sigil tests all morning and could not figure out why I couldn’t get the benefit of both of my sigil types to work with OH/MH.
