Still running my old RRR build because why not
Pretty much as said in the title. Weapon swapping while in combat with geomancy and hydromancy sigils haven’t been applying the AoE conditions consistantly. They work sometimes. They don’t work others.
I would give particular scenarios in which they ALWAYS or NEVER work, but they’ve just been too inconsistent. They work sometimes then decide to turn off in the same battle. I can’t pinpoint what the issue is other than they only sometimes work.
I hope someone else can contribute with a little more information on the scenarios that trigger this bug.
Are you sure you’re not just encountering the internal cooldown?
Weapon swapping sigils can only occur once per 9 seconds.
Also when any sigil is on cooldown (On crit or on Swap) no other sigil can proc until the cooldown in over.
when you have two sigils with the same way of activating, i.e.
both stat stack on kill (precision and power)
both have effect on kill (stamina and restoration)
both have effect on crit (fire and strength)
both have effect on swap (hydromancy and energy etc)
only one of them works.
I don’t know if this is a bug or “working as intended” but this is the situation.
you should avoid slotting two sigils if they have same activation method.
two passive stat increase work correctly (+10% bleed duration *2 for example) .
two stat stacking of the same stat work correctly (+10 condition damage *2 for example)

Negative on internal cooldown. I can’t weapon swap any quicker than that, so I don’t need to worry about it. Here’s actually a video I recorded to help demonstrate my build’s healing ability on the Ranger forums. You can see that whenever I weapon swap, the sigils of geomancy fail to activate

I only have one sigil that activates on weapon swap for each weaponset.

Do you have any that activate “On critical hit”?
Since if any sigil goes on cooldown (Be it an “On Swap” or “On crit” sigil) then no other sigil with a cooldown can activate.
I bet when it’s not activating your not in combat.. and thats where this problem stems from..

I’m also having issues with Sigil of Geomancy proc’ing. It has nothing to do with the internal cooldown or being in combat or anything simple like that. It works fine at the start but then later on completely stops working. I have to re-equip my weapon sets to fix it. I cannot pinpoint exactly what is causing them to stop working. Anybody else having this issue?

Negative I tested 2 sigil of energies against lupi last night and they failed to proc. I never left combat and I could not get them to proc to save my life.
Waste of 2g ….
So word on the street is weapon swap sigils have an odd interaction with transformation skills that cause them to bug out, but I can’t reliably reproduce it with 100% accuracy. I do know that when you exit a transformation it triggers weapon swap sigils however (as well as picking up kits and stuff), which probably should get fixed.
