Hi there,
I’d like to report that since last night I started facing this annoying problem. All of sudden my weapon skills and my dodge bar stop working and still this way until i log off/in again ( also noticed that if I change maps it starts working again). Regarding the dodge bar, I can double tap and so my toon does the dodge movement, however the bar keeps filled. What is curious is that almost all my utilities work (expect heal and elite ones) and I can type/talk to people in the game normally meaning that it is not lag or something related to it.
Has anyone noticed that too?

I have not been having this issue, but ppl in my guild have told me about it, and they get really annoyed by this, if they’re lucky, the skills may come back, but sometimes, not.
Either restart game, or change map, is the quickest way. But when you do raids, and it happening to the leader, it’s not something you wish to do.

Yeah some mates have been reporting the same problem too. Either restart the game or change map aren’t good options when you are WvWing due to the queue.

This bug just hit me. Glad to see that I’m not alone.

I saw it in PvE yesterday. Affected all my skills 1 to 10. I double tap to dodge, didn’t see anything wierd there.

Did have a bit the day prior where I could move normally with wasd, but could not type any text into map chat, just symbols. Something seems a bit off with the UI input.

Just had this problem while fighting Grenth and I have had this problem in wvw before (last week). All skills except shouts just randomly stopped working. I can still dodge and get hit, but can’t attack. Changing weapons doesn’t help.

I had the same problem in fractal and going downed fixed it, have you tried it?

This happend to me 3 times in the last couple of days.Im in WvW with my guild fighting a blob when i notice that my weapon skills don’t go on cd when i use them.so i go ooc to see what happens i wp to the keep and i c that not even my autoattack work.my utility skills are ok i get the buffs they go on cd so i tryed to change weapons to c if that works but nothing.the only thing u can do is relog and queue for 1h to get back in

It happened again in coe, getting downed fixed it again.

This happened to me once earlier today in WvW for a few seconds, and just now while doing a Champion train.

Just happened to me. I have reported this many times to the devs. No reply or fix….whatever

yep happened to me too in wvw and pve. i couldnt even pick up loot. thought my keyboard was broken…

this keeps happening to me in pvp….it’s really kitten ing me off.

HOTM, connection perfect,
starting area in a pvp map, connection perfect,
as soon as game starts…i cannot move, i get crazy lag and non of my skills work and always on cd……YET I CAN STILL TYPE IN /MAP /TEAM/PARTY and my internet is fine and so is teamspeak…

if its a know issue then why the f**k are Anet not looking into it or even acknowledging it. Its so so frustrating.

sometimes i wonder why i play this game…the amount of bugs and issues wrong with it is just laughable.

It’s a message from Anet: “Be hardcore and kill your opponent without using weapon skills”.

Anyway the bug applies to more than that you can’t use “F” to loot etc…

Me to thought there was something wrong with my computer at first.

I have same problems already 4 days with skills not work anywhere , and it constantly. Repair or reinstall client does not help,I do not know what can I do …

Yep. Been getting the same in dungeons. All of a sudden I can’t swap weapon sets using keyboard or by mouse clicking. Even getting out of combat and removing weapon and putting it back again didn’t solve it. Only way it worked again was when the instance was over i.e boss is dead or waypoining when dead.

It’s a shame that me game after 20 days of playing make this. :/

Hi – I noticed it happens when I attempt to pick up a bundle (banner) and cancel the action by moving slightly or something. The game seems to bug out.

I have found that getting knocked down fixes it too, which is weird. Next time it happens I’m going to try doing a jump that’s far enough to cause me to fall on my face and see if that stops it. Just FYI in case this helps anyone in the meantime..
