Guild Wars 2

So, as of recent, I’ve been getting some pretty ridiculous lag spikes, but only when I’m using guild chat. Every time I send a message it sends my ping into the 4-digit areas and it’s starting to get frustrating. Is anyone else getting this issue, or is my internet the problem?

Forgot to add, eventually the game will randomly kick me, and when I log back into my character I won’t be able to use any form of chat.
