Okay so.. After HoT came out some weird stuff has happened to me in game.
Sometimes I see people with blue and green colors all over them..
Today my entire Trading post panel turned into a blue and green color.
I tried taking a screenshot of it but it just gives me a serious error then.
Hopefully I got it saved before I crashed.

It sounds more like graphics card trouble to me. Have you tried wiping your drivers and reinstalling them, cause it sounds like you’re having artifacts.
Worst case scenario would be dieing graphics card.

i dont think its the graphics card i had it happen in trading post as well but i closed it reopened it and it was gone.

Happened to me too when I opened the TP and everything was green and blue. The serious error message came shortly after.

I just reopened the game and continued though..

Yeah, I don’t think it’s my graphics card tbh. It happened again tho, just to the characters. Think I managed to get a screenshot of it now.

I have exactly the same problem, it also did the same thing when I opened the TP, screenshot attached.

Yeah it happens to me, too. Most of the times it happens when I open the hero panel and only the character is blueish green. Don’t try to take a screenshot of it with the ingame function because that will crash your game in 99% of the cases. Sometimes the error spreads out to character models running around me in WvW and only once did I see this error on the options window. Usually when I notice this I can keep going for a while before the game finally crashes. Just don’t try to take a screenshot.

The errors I get in the crash report are
- Texture missing mip chain
- Failed to resolve AimIK bone indices
- LightningSetActionPoints: destination action point ‘root’ not found on model
- LightningSetActionPoints: lightning ‘fluxsystem’ not found
and sometimes a few missing combofinishers

There is an issue going on. If you see weird textures apparently do NOT try to take a screenshot as that can force a crash.

It also seems repairing doesn’t fix this (like it does for the pink texture which is a missing texture issue). Guildie has it so bad that if he sees any texture out of place at all, he knows not to take a screenshot. Thing is, we’ve all seen this issue now, just he gets it more. I had noticed the profile picture for someone was various colors but everything else was fine. It did look just like the picture LadySkylet attached except it wasn’t the game model, just the picture where you click on them. I did not crash then but I did not take a screenshot either.
