Got to the end of the jumping puzzle and got the achievement but was unable to claim the chest. It was already laying open and I could not interact with it at all.
Can confirm it is still the same as of today. Got to end got achievement and chest was opened.
I just did it on my char and it was closed.
This chest is apparently connected to the Chaos Crystal Cavern JP in Iron Marches.
That may be the reason or the timer on the chest hasn’t reset yet.
