What is considered a foe?

The bugged TAB button for ‘Target Next Enemy’ really irks me. Hit it and it doesn’t just target an enemy, but locks onto a friendly yellow instead.
Deathly Claws :
The projectile summoned by this skill will damage enemies in a line from the caster to the target.
What are you seeing instead?

Im basicly seeing the projectile missing turrets right in front of me, flame and net to be precise. They just don’t get hit. havn’t tested it on all other AI, but if a immobile turret won’t get hit, then i can only immagine other AI not getting hit either, in fact im pretty sure it doesn’t hit certain spirits and minions (should check tiny characters, it might just blows over) (of the damage floaters are not working, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem)
TAB and the speed of switching enemies also fails miserably wehen in Lich.

One of two things might be occurring (I haven’t tried to test this stuff myself):
1. If you’re not targeting the turrets directly, the claws might not hit them. Sometimes the turrets are a bit weird in that they don’t actually block projectiles aimed at the engineer, even though it seems like they should. If you’ve tried to target the turrets directly then obviously this isn’t the problem.
2. Hits sometimes won’t register on some “structures”, particularly with ranged weapons. You might try attacking the turret from range and then trying it from melee distance from the turret to see if one works and the other doesn’t. Similar problems are sometimes encountered with things like the graveling burrows in AC or just certain types of attacks (i.e. the third chain in the guardian’s sword auto-attack is notorious for missing certain structures, like siege).
My guess is it’s likely the second point, though it would be hard to tell without sufficient testing. In theory, the ability should hit anything that is “hittable”, such as enemies, their clones and phantasms, their summoned minions and such, their pet, random hostile or non-hostile mobs in the way, critters, and structures like siege and turrets.
