So what is the story now? I have been getting conditions that last 1-2 minutes.

As you can see on the pictures, I got poison condition and almost died! I used 2 times my healing skills and barely just made it. Oh and please don’t give me that crap about condition removal because it does not work, it removes 1 condition and you get 7 more. The signet removes all conditions but you get them again and again, the signets takes forever to recharge, by that time you are dead.

Not a bug. poison stacks in duration ( so if you got multishot by hyleks….. yeaaahhh), and yes, you should have condition removal.

I completely disagree, what you are saying is that we warriors MUST have condition removal just because…

So what is the point of utility skills then?

To provide utility, like removing conditions. As he said, poison stacks in duration, so that’s probably why you had a lot on you. Furthermore, poison reduces the effectiveness of healing by 33% so it’s even better to remove it before healing.

If you’re having trouble with the signet, then go for “Shake it Off!” it’s on a shorter cooldown and also counts as a stun breaker. It also removes conditions from allies so that’s even more useful.

All in all, this is not a bug.

Always question your assumptions.

I must say, hylek poisons are the worst… Half the time you think “okay, that should be gone by now,” it’s not! They last for ages without removal.

Just keep an eye on your duration and if you see a duration of 1day or something, then it’s an issue.

However, I think there is somewhere in the game you get a “permanent” condition designed to last for an extended time, but that should go away after you complete the objective associated. (I can’t remember exactly, I may even be making it up lol, but I really thought I remember that from somewhere… Personal story, event, something, etc)

Ah that sucks, so as a warrior I MUST have condition removal at ALL TIMES and never use the other skills such as endrure pain, bull’s charge, throw balls, fear me.

Well, that is the game design we should stick with it…………………………………..NOT

First of all, the screenshots were taken at SW tower in one of the WvW borderlands, not PvE. No Hylek in WvW. Those were most likely venomshare thieves that he encountered.

You’re using a greatsword in WvW zerg play with a hundy hero bar setup. That alone tells me you don’t WvW much. Hammer is a far, far superior choice to the hundy heroes that get eaten up in the confrontations. The fact that you’re complaining about having to bring condition removal (pretty much the one thing you bring into PvP in any game ever) into a PvP game mode tells me that you don’t PvP much, if at all. If you don’t want to run Runes of Melandru + Lemongrass Poultry with the Condi Hate traits in WvW, then you need to bring condition removal. Lastly, it’s hardly your entire bar if you choose not to spec as such. Bring Shake It Off and then your two other favourite utility skills (hint, not bull’s rush nor throw bolas if you’re in a zerg).

It actually stuns me that I need to explain this to someone.

Runes of melandru + lemongrass is one way to go for a whopping -65% condi duration.

Another way to go is runes of the soldier + triple shouts (shake it off, for great justice and fear me).
You can also use mending and restorative strength (minor trait in strength tree) to remove up to 6 conditions.

A condition remover takes up one slot.

You have three.

Of course you can have two of those skills along with a condition remover. Or you can, as you do now, run around without one… but then you should expect repeat incidents with conditions that stack duration, like poison or burn.

This post may contain a high concentration of sarcasm and irony.

This guy is just trolling.
A live warrior does more than a dead one. If you are so offended to have to carry a condition cleanser as a warrior, then stop using healing skills as well. Don’t you know warriors aren’t supposed to heal.

Hint, there’s a new Defense IX trait called Cleansing Ire. That pretty much makes warrior one of the best condition removal class.
