What exactly is the waypoint bug? I waypoint all the time and don’t recall any bugs with it.

I’ve had it a few times, where you get stuck in a WP and have to WP out, it’s not a common bug.

When you Waypoint into an area and your camera view is all screwed up. For me it can take as long as 6m42s to fix (I started timing it). My character can still move however, so I can sometimes use the mini map to guide myself. Like when I goto heart of the mists to take the LA portal, I can usually guide myself into the LA portal via mini map. But this happens to me all the time.

When I am in WvW, sometimes the zerg I am running with will suddenly decide to switch to EBG. I have ported to EBG before and been stuck in spawn while the zerg was able to take Overlook, Veloka, Pangloss, Ogerwatch and Anzalia’s all while I am waiting for my camera view to fix itself back onto my character and I can finally start playing.

This happens to me all the time and at first I just dealt with it but after dealing with this since release it is getting the the point where I just can’t take it anymore. I am considering putting GW2 on the back burner and playing other games until they can fix this.

This bug happens to me occasionally. Once you have used a waypoint (or very occasionally when first logging in), your camera will stay at the waypoint/spawn location, although you can still move your character. I find it happens most often in LA. It takes a few minutes for the camera to finally catch up to your character, if you do choose to move. I usually don’t because I can’t see where I am going.

Oh, I only get this on rare occasion when I WP into LA. I guess it’s down to the area being crowded. Only had it a couple times and never anywhere else.

I get it at 90% of my waypoints. It is not limited to crowded areas, not for me at least.

I think the camera not moving after using a WP might be tied to character race (eg: asura only).

The ‘stuck in ground’ after way pointing, I’ve some things to try there to see if I can force recreates of it.

This! Happens tome in DR and LA but catches up easier in DR. Get a new machine or suffer/don’t play GW 2.

happens to me all the time the last month or so, never did it previously. it has nothing to do with my pc and i doubt it is because of your pc as well. this pc works perfectly fine, and in fact i have the graphics so low on this game, and the firewall set for gaming to eliminate unnecessary programs as i play, that if i tweak it any lower this game will look like the atari tank battle squares. fix this garbage anet.
