Guild Wars 2

Hello all,

I have been a guild leader since the game launched and I have had two bugs that have been an issue for as long as I can remember. I’m not sure if they are related to being guild leader or not but it’s just some insight

The first, when I try to whisper, sometimes it takes up to 15 minutes before their name appears for me to type my message. I’ve tried to /w <name>, then type the message but it just disappears, I’ve sent it, but it doesn’t get sent until a few minutes later. I often have to just send a mail saying what I want and explaining that my chat is bugged. If I receive a whisper, however, I can respond normally.

The second, often my guild roster is slow to update. I’ll see that someone is logged in, on character select, knowing this by seeing the green light next to their name, but only their account name is shown, not a character name, or they’ll show as repping a different guild. But they’ll be typing in Guild Chat. This has happened for as long as 2 hours before I just decided to relog and update it. It also happens with Guild Missions. I’ll trigger a Guild Bounty and everyone except me can see who the targets are, so they tell me where to go.

This has been a loooooooooong standing bug, guild history text will show as “….”, inability to send a private message, update lag regarding buffs, update lag regarding showing members online…

After reporting this several times in game and on forums I just gave up on them ever fixing it, and just hope restarting fixes it, sometimes it helps, sometimes not.
