Guild Wars 2

The whisper option when I right click a friend/guild member’s name does not show up; its not there anymore.

… help?

1. Are they set to appear offline? (Or you?).
2. Or are they in an [unknown] location? Then theyre stuck in a loading screen or on character select.
3. do either of you have a free acount?

Friends/GM’s were online and not in the unknown location.
I don’t have a free account.

But I just checked and the option is available again. Not sure what happened, if anet did anything specifically to fix it but its back.

I have had the whole chat box go ‘dead’ many times.

Even reinstalling didn’t help until after an update – so they know that the problem exists but haven’t pinned down where the issue stems from – yet.
