Rocks I can deal with, getting warhammers thrown at me from that range takes the cake.

Yeah, it’s pretty ridiculous. I’m literally getting hit from almost max draw distance and over a third of the map away.
bump this is utter .. WTF moment with there unseeingly long range of doom.
The range is pretty silly. Especially since they can pelt you with rocks from a long distance below, yet when you land, they are still well out of aggro range.
The other ridiculous thing. They can also hit you while stealth gliding.

The problem is with stealth gliding. Any enemy can hit you when stealth gliding. It needs to be fixed. That being said , the range from from knights needs to be reduced.
Perhaps ANet is planning on using the White Mantle to assault LA or Black Citadel… Rocks inbound in an orbital strike, thrown in a impact trajectory from Bloodstone Fen. Players getting zapped out of seemingly thin air, keeling over in the Grand Piazza, etc.

So much this. Stealth gliding got even more broken with this patch.

Earlier mobs could hit you if they targeted you before stealth, only one hit would reach you, but now it’s absolutely useless, you stealth glide away from one grp of mobs but enother will hit you in stealth nonetheless.

Stealth gliding seems to work fine against the sharpshooters.
