The guild bank is tied to the server. If you moved your account to a different server, the guild bank is where it always was – back on your old server. You need to ask guild members still on the old server to pick up the contents before they move their accounts to the new server.

We moved 4 weeks ago, and had a new guild bank again. It went missing 2 days ago, please post if you know anything about it’s whereabouts!

This thread is currently NOT a bug report.

Please post exactly what is wrong, the any steps that might help the developers reproduce the bug, and all other information related to the bug, such as guild name and server (don’t rely on your signature)

Something like:
We upgraded and got the guild bank 2 days ago (put date here) and put some items in the bank, as of date (put date here) we can no longer access our guild bank. We checked guild permissions and confirmed that we should have permission to view the bank but cannot. On talking to the bank NPC it says we do not have a bank.

Post screenshot of your guilds upgrade window showing the bank contract, and the NPC dialog.
State the server you are on
State the guild you have the issue with.
State anything that may potentially cause the issue: like you transferred 4 weeks ago.

Also bug reports will not help you reinstate your access, but to fix bugs. If you need assistance you need to open a support ticket at support.guildwars2.com

How about the guild bank is simply not there for a bug report?

How else can I say it other than the guild bank is simply not there? It was there, then an Anet update came along and now it is no longer there.

I say it is no longer there because every time I go to access it, the guild bank person says my guild does not have a guild bank. It did but like I said then an Anet update came along and now it is gone.

This is a repetition of an old bug which I am sure the developers can find if they look through their bug reporting system^^

Then again I just wish that Anets QA department could catch things like this before they release code. It only took us a couple of minutes of normal game play after the update of 23/7/2013 to find it :O

So here’s the exact bug.

I am in a guild, I can kick people form it, invite people to it, buy influence for it, talk in guild chat, in fact I can use all of the very limited guild features in GW2.

When I try to access the guild bank the dialog says “I only work with guilds. If you wish to use my services, you must first seek a guild to join.”

roflmfao, just had a very small patch to the game and now the guild bank NPC states “Your guild hasn’t built any sort of storage yet. I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do for you.”

Although it’s something different in your subsequent post, that statement appears when you aren’t representing any guild. Try swapping guild rep back and forth if you’re a member of multiple guilds?

Otherwise I’d send a support ticket in addition to this thread. My guild that I built just for storage still has working storage, and so does my current guild I’m representing. No one in map chat in LA claims to have or heard of a similar issue either.

Forgot to add: Check if the guild’s upgrades currently show as the guild storage/vault being completed. That might clarify the issue if you’re hopping between servers and losing storage as you move (which is normal as each server has independent upgrades).

Looks like this missing guild bank bug only exists in Lion’s Arch, The Grove and Hoelbrak.

Divinity’s Reach, Black Citadel and Rata Sum are fine.

Quite a few people I spoke to in LA were also having the same bug and non existent guild bugs too. Guess it’s a funny old game. I sent screenshots showing my guild with storage upgrades and a NPC dialog saying we had no storage upgrade along with the bug reports so maybe one day they will get round to this long existing bug.

Anyways, like I said above, the bug only exists in a few cities, so it can be worked around /shrug

Problem identified and Arenanet informed. Lion’s arc is heavily bugged. So access Guild Bank from one of the home towns.
