It seems on every map there’s at least one if not more and we can’t complete the maps which is a pain. You guys really need to get on with hotfixing these things on the fly ASAP!

Maybe one of my experience can tell you one of the reason that why skill NPCs are missing. I challenged an underwater skill challenged NPC and he is so hard (well, every fight underwater in this game is hard and boring, though the scenery is great) that I was downed and I tried to swim to the surface. He followed me for an extremely long distance up to the water surface (don’t think he is supposed to, because for the first time when I runned, he stopped chasing me at the entrance of the cave). He keeped pulling me down into the water while I fought for the surface and this last like 5 minutes until finally I was able to get out of down state and escape to land.

When I went back to his cave, he is missing. Waited for 10 minutes, still missing. I gave up and logged out the game. Luckily for this case, he was back the next morning.

The cave is very deep underwater and his behavior of chasing me to the water surface seems to be the reason for being missing. And I guess this can happen in many cases that the skill NPC unable to run back if they chased a losing player too long.

My patience lasted a month. Seeing the same stuff reported over and over and over and over and over (see the pattern?) and then not having any fixes or any word….

The skill points, we reported them in April during the first beta open to the public. April. Same skill points. Never fixed.

I understand it can be hard reproducing the issue to understand how to fix it, but now they have thousands of points of data… Plus, if they never fixed it the first hundred times we reported it, I don’t see why they didn’t do a more thorough beta to get the info they needed for known issues…

“When it’s ready” I took at face value. I expected bugs, but I expected quality fixes too.

Every map from level 40 on is broke. Underwater combat—broke. Mobs being immune, healing, while you stay in combat, and then they reaggro and kill you—broke. Respawn rates—broke.

Sad thing is, this was reported. And we would have reported the higher maps, had they been open for testing.

I’m finding Orr to be a mess. If this zone was a starter/early zone, I’d never have bought the game. It’s that much of a mess. And that much an indicator of how not fun the game becomes.

It’ll become fixed (partly) at some point. But it’s highly difficult to not become frustrated when you want to like something and play it, but your patience finally ran out.

Its usually people “kiting” those NPC skill challenges, pulling them from area’s that their path is set to, I think skill challengers are not bound by reset boundaries if player continues to agro them by keeping conditions constantly on them and such..
