There’s still bugs in the game that have been in since launch or others introduced after that have been in for more than a year.
For example I’ve reported the countless Ride The Lightning bugs multiple times both ingame and in the forums – and I’m sure I can’t be the only one. But bugs like the especially annoying one where your character stops moving after RTL and you have to re-input the movement command (normal or autorun), unless you manually move the camera around a little bit while RTLing, are still in the game.
That bug isn’t even in since launch but was introduced around the time or shortly after RTL got the double cooldown mechanic added, so it should be possible to backtrack where the issue happened.
Incidentally, the double cooldown mechanic is also bugged because according to the devs back then it’s not supposed to go on double cooldown if it gets evaded or blocked, and they never said otherwise since then so we have to assume it’s bugged.
So, TL;DR, why should we even bother to report bugs if quite some don’t get fixed – or even just addressed with a dev response – for so long?
I guess what I’m asking is, is it really so hard and time-consuming for devs to just acknowledge some of those longer-lasting bugs? Like say “we changed our minds, RTL is supposed to go double cooldown when blocked” or even just “that’s a particularly hard bug to fix”?
