I was alone in a Wonderland map doing the JP for a while and I noticed that whenever I came in from the south path, some of the gifts would explode before I even got there. Was that intended?

The gifts explode based on both their own timing and on when a player (any player) first jumps onto them. The path you took to get to the presents doesn’t factor into it at all.

Please, read my post again, for real, this time. I was ALONE in the map. The gifts did NOT explode prior to me getting there if I took the north or center path (that was implied) but they did every time I took the south path. Or are you somehow implying that I did not observe what I did in fact observe? I farmed that map ALONE for about 3 hours and the gifts didn’t explode on their own unless I took the south path.

I’m not saying you didn’t see the presents explode that way. I’m saying that I’ve also farmed this JP (this year and last year), usually alternating paths to keep it from being too boring, and I’ve NEVER noticed any difference in the behavior of the presents based on which path I took.

Well, this year is another year with fresh new bugs and other annoyances. I wouldn’t dismiss anything out of hand.

I noticed that too, just now. Approaching over the Quaggan path, I can be looking at a full grid of presents without a player in sight, and when I make the final approach to the Tixx safezone before the presents, the presents will start popping.
