The exploding presents that you have to jump across, often do not reset after the first person goes over it. This leaves them in a state where some presents are already missing, and the whole thing is wired to instantly kill the next person trying to cross. This leads to a lot of people camping at the halfway point, hoping for some unknowing soul to cross and get himself killed, so the whole thing resets again.

This just seems like either a giant design flaw, or a bug.

It happens when people go early (before the first row of blue presents spawn).

What khani said is the cause as far as I can tell. I have noticed though that the presents will fully reset if someone misses a jump in that stage and falls. Can’t say this happens every time without fail though.

It is still doable, although difficult and you need to get lucky. I’ve had maybe a 50% success rate going at that half-exploded state versus almost 100% when I jump it early :P If you want to be the martyr, pick a line of presents that has no gaps, and try to go straight up that line. Sometimes it’ll remain in tact long enough that you’ll only have to do one sidestep and barely make it through.
