I completed Grawnk Munch and consumed the Gift of Magnanimity, but there is no Wintersday Tree of Generosity in my home instance.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Have you tried a different Home Instance? Tried logging out completely, and back in?

This might be a silly question: did you also open the Orphan’s Generous Gift and did you get the Star of Gratitude?

I have the same problem. I opened the gift, only got the Star of Gratitude but no tree at my home instance.

I have not had the chance to try another player’s or race’s home instance. I have logged out and logged back in.

I opened the Orphan’s Generous Gift and received the Star of Gratitude and the Gift of Magnanimity. I then consumed the gift of Magnanimity.

OK, good, you’ve done all the obvious stuff. But then again, bad, because you still don’t have the tree.

Create a support ticket, providing all the details about what you’ve tried. At this point, whatever is going on is something Customer Service will have to address.

I’ve received response from GW2 Support. As far as they know, this is a new bug, and it is being escalated.

Well, that’s a good news|bad news response: good that you did everything you were supposed and bad that it’s a bug that needs fixing, requiring you to wait it out.

I finished my For The Children! collection and got my Tree Node. I double-clicked it and I was instantly told a new resource node was added to my home instance. Jump in my home instance and there is no tree to be found. Am I missing something? I checked all my other home instances too. =(

Having the same problem. Achievement done, title unlocked, used the generous gift; no tree in any home instance.

I have the same issue. I was actually able to harvest the tree in my home a single time when I got it, but it never respawned.

The Devs have acknowledged the issue and are working on a fix.

My tree, earned this year, went missing today. I guess there’s a very happy Winstersday elf somewhere now, collecting trees. :D It seems last year’s trees don’t have the same problem, from what I’ve heard, but I could be wrong.

Hello! After i finished the orphans quest (For the Children!), I received “Gift of Magnanimity” and “Star of Gratitude”After I dubleclicked the “Gift”, I received a message that in my home instance will be a “Wintersday Tree of Generosity”, but there is no such node. Can you help me please?

I completed the achievement For the Children! and received the item to create the Wintersday Tree of Generosity node (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Wintersday_Tree_of_Generosity).
I clicked on it and received in game dialog stating that a node was added to my home instance however, I can not find the tree anywhere.
Notes say that it should be available everyday of the year. Does anyone have any idea where it is or if there is a bug?

Yes, it’s a bug. There is a big long thread here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Wintersday-Tree-of-Generosity-Merged but I guess this will get merged with it.

I had the same problem and contacted Support and was told about the bug. They are working on fixing it.

Bump, add another one to the list. Wished I found this thread before redoing those jumping puzzles

i also have this issue. i have the star in my inventory and consumed the gift of magnananaimainaimaity but dont have the tree in my home instance I thought maybe I missed a step but reading through all of this I did all that was necessary. Hope a fix for this comes soon.

And I have the same problem as well, submitted a ticket in game but figured it was best to check the forum too. As above posters did, I have all six ornaments, received and consumed the gift, and have the star. Relogged, and nothing.
