Guild Wars 2

I’ve logged a support ticket but may as well document it here. After a few trials (being in Australia) I actually won a sanctum sprint race. However I didn’t get the achievement or title.

There is an issue with how finishing place is determined and displayed when granting the achievement.

• “Player A” passes finish line, gets 1st place.
• “Player A” immediately leaves to join another game instead of waiting around for 5+ minutes.
• “Player B” passes the finish line, sees nobody else around, thinks they are first place.
• Game ends and “Player B”, that actually finished in 2nd place, is shown as having won 1st place in the Race Results since “Player A” has left and is not listed in the results.
• “Player B” does not get First Place Achievement nor awarded the Title.

This is most likely what happened.
