Guild Wars 2

The World Event: “Defend Applenook from the pirate attack.” in the Cornucopian Fields section of the Gendarran Fields map on Blackgate server seems to be bugged so that it never ends!

Last night I went through there and saw the event. Villagers Alive: 2 Cutthroat waves defeated: 7/8

I saw a few pirates around, attacking buildings. I killed them, I killed every pirate in the event area, and the waves defeated remained at 7/8. I moved along, figuring I was missing something and didn’t want to deal with it right then.
However, on coming to the same area again today I still see the same number of villagers alive, same number of waves defeated and no pirates in or around the event area. It seems to be stuck!

Edit: A few minutes after posting this, 2 cutthroats showed up attacking a building and I killed them. Then 2 more were attacking another building and I killed them. The event is still stuck.

Stuck also. kitten feels so weird its been two months still had bug
