World reloading on jumping in water
I’m getting the same thing, I don’t think it was happening yesterday (can’t recall, wasn’t really paying attention) but today suddenly I can’t jump out of water, specifically in Alpine Borderlands WvW (Sea of Sorrows), the world seems to disappear and re-render itself and I end up back in the same spot. I can only exit water via inclines where I can move without jumping.
I’ve been getting something similar to this in Frostgorge Sound. Sometimes when I jump off a shallow ledge, I think I fall underneath the map for one second and have only underwater skills then reloads the whole area I was just in. One time I teleported sky high and just fell for seconds. I’m thinking there is some kind of Z-axis bug.
I was able to replicate it by just repeatedly jumping off ledges until it happened, I have a screenshot included here. It’s annoying since you can get stuck inside the terrain and have to WP then catch up to the farm train.
Sorry to bring this back, but I started getting it after the patch – except it happens regardless of how close to water I am. All I have to do is jump. But it does seem to be worse in Frostgorge Sound
I have a pic of coming out of the “water” but I can’t get one while in the water because they happen so fast and everything freezes :\ I have one screenshot of water on the screen after coming out, and one just before everything re-rendered back where the snow is missing. I’m near water but didn’t go in – had just been knocked over by an Ice Wurm…
Have submitted this to bug report, hopefully it gets fixed :\ very hard to move around
yes i’m getting this, was doing the Uncatergorized fractal earlier and as i was jumping to the yellow platform things, everything disappeared and i just fell to my death, also doing the Volcanic fractal, was making the jump across the broken bridge just before the boss with the lava underneath, i missed and started to fall. and instantly died but my character looked like it was floating and i was all the way to the top left of the fractal map, way off the actual fractal.
