Would you PLEASE fix that LFG bug already!!

would help if you said what you think is a bug.

Its like… you use LFG and then you see it… it happens literally every single time…

Sorry have never seen a LFG bug except one that was fixed a while ago about joining too many groups.

LFG sometimes won’t update party description when you list it again so you have to press edit description button and edit it again.

yes, the bug is that if you put an LFG up (second time, lets say after a fractal and one person leaves) it will get bugged and shows the same old first LFG you wrote instead of the one you redid. so you have to edit the LFG in order for it to show the correct one you wish to apply.

Main problem of this is, in fractal people join thinking we are still going to do a fractal which we have finished. in raid it becomes a huge problem as we are handling 10 people and someone joins before we can re edit and remove a class that we have abundance of and it leads to having to kick him and redoing LFG.

Glad to see some is getting on the case for this. I’ve just kind of accepted it as how it is for the time being since a long time ago lol and try my best to remember to:

• Open LFG textbox to repost
• Type description
• CTRL-A, CTRL-X
• Post LFG
• Ninja edit, CTRL-V, update

Works pretty nicely provided you’re fast enough heh, but certainly it would be much better if LFG just worked as intended.

Since surprisingly this is barely mentioned Im making a post about it.
Recently I have been experiencing a lot of bugs with lfg, especially when doing fractals and dungeons. Whenever a party makes an lfg the first time, its set correctly. But when another lfg is set, lets say we are done with fractal X and want to do fractal Y but lost a member or two, the lfg, even though its set to Y shows the previous message.
It is incredibly annoying for people who look for lets say specific fractals or paths end up in something completely different that the party already completed, but the lfg did not update.
The bug has been around a while.
Please look into this.

I say probly in ½-2 years, anet staff is not the fastes boat in the harbour.

It would be nice if a group who’s been doing X fractal can update their group search for Y fractal without having to put it in twice for it to work.

This is absolutely the most frustrating thing about the tool.

Example : Did fractal 60 for T3 daily, trying to get a group going to 57 ( also T3 daily ) but by the time you update the description, people join for 60 because it auto shows the last description.

Sometimes I’ll post it in a unused category then change it then move it
