The actual discount of transmutation charges (stack of 25) is just 12,5% and not 30%

Please fix that.

I’m pretty sure, it’s 30% off

Original price 150
Current price 105

105/150 = 0.7 => 70% of original price => 30% discount.

I’m pretty sure this is correct.

210/270 = 0.7777…. => incorrect
discounted price should be 189

(stacks of 25)
Original price 600
Current 525

525/600 = 0.875 => 12.5% discount

Discounted price should be 420

The stacks of 10, and 25 uses (stacks of 5)

in this case (template from stacks of 5)

stacks of 10 cost 300

and 30% off is 210

Yepp .. this was what i have calculated .. since thats also what i’m interested to buy ^^

So depending on how you count, you can’t actually say the prices are off, but that can be discussed in different ways.

This does not use “bugged” pattern
25% off from 135 → 101
25% off from 495 → 371 (5 stacks)

if it was going to use same “pattern” as transmutation charges
base of 1 stack(price of one*5)
would make 675*0.75 => 513 (more than the current (normal price for 5 wxp-booster)

It looks like they are using the current (discounted) price of one (105 [30% off]) x whatever multiple is used.

Thus, 105 × 2(stacks) = 205
105 × 5(stacks) = 525

Rather than 30% off the discounted price one would get by buying multiples at regular price.

Reminds me of the accidental heavy discount of the 5 key pack last March. I doubt they will fix this because providing refunds would be a tracking nightmare.

In the end at the moment 1 charge costs always 21 gems no matter if you buy 5, 10 or 25.

I remember the Devs explaining this once before.

However, the other items in the shop that can be purchased in bulk have their bulk rates discounted, unlike these. So I think it’s some sort of error.

Well go to the Gem store now.
They change the pack price of 10 from 270 to 300 and the 25 pack from 600 to 750 -.-

Why not put the correct price of sell instead of changing the old one to make it seem it has 30% discount?

They did that cause it’s easier than give a refund. Sadly.

Here’s a summary for folks. Pretty shady ANet.

I just checked the price on the gem store for these and it’s back to the original 25 stones for 600 gems now discounted to 525 gems, i.e. 12.5% off. Anet should change the wording up top from “30% Off!” to “Up to 30% Off!” as that’s a commonly understood wording to warn people that it’s not a flat 30% discount across the board.
