Guild Wars 2

Today I got the “Pile of Regurgitated Armor”, was totally happy cause I liked the green smoke effect, and it would be perfect for my necromancer. So I choosed the Wurmslayer’s Wristguards. ( [&AgErvwAA] )
BUT when i put them on there was no effect and no animation. I was wondering why, and the I found out that its because of my Coat ( Exalted Coat – [&AgH8vQAA] )
So when I put a coat on that doesnt overlays the wristguards like the Magician Coat ( [&AgGsAAAA] ) , I get the smoke effect. But than my necromancer doesnt have the looks like I wanted to.
And when the Wurmslayer’s Wristguards doesnt have any animation while wearing the coat I love (Exalted Coat), than there is no purpose for the Wristguards.

I dont know if this is a bug or it has to be so. But its really dissapointing, that I cant design my character like I want to because of this. ( and all wurm kills are than for norhing)

Hi, just recently I got the same bag and already on the preview the gloves already show no effect. I’m using light t2 human armor as the chest.
Sadly it does make me not even properly open the bag since it simply won’t work, which is a shame, because the effect is pretty awesome.

That’s the problem with some coats (and Pants). Some coats cover the gloves so you only see the hands and basic gloves and some pants too go over the boots. I personally like that some of the coats/pants have this, but I understand that you like this particular coat and wish it didn’t for the purpose of your look. It’s just how some of the different coats are. They can’t all tuck into your gloves/boots and it’s nice to have that variety. You might want to try clicking through the wardrobe to see if there’s a similar coat that you like for his look that doesn’t have that issue with the gloves.
